Ionic liquids have the advantages of low vapor, high thermal stability and mechanical stability. Based on these advantages, ionic liquids are used as electrolytes in electrochemical devices. In this study, we report a new polymeric binders containing ion-conductible moiety. Our new binders are synthesized by cross-linking by electron beam. Electron beam induced cross-linking can be performed more safely and quickly than conventional thermal methods. The new binder thus synthesized has superior thermal and mechanical stability to conventional binders. |
