제목 Biocompatible Materials Coated Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for NIRF/MRI Multi Modal Cancer Imaging
초록 The combination of several imaging modalities such as CT, PET, MRI, and optical imaging represents complementary imaging information about anatomy and molecular function of human body in disease diagnosis. Especially, anatomical imaging modalities and functional imaging were combined for overcoming the limitation of single modal imaging. Optical imaging is a well-established imaging technique for biologic information on a molecular level. In contrast, MRI gives the ability to follow anatomic 3D images with high spatial resolution. Therefore the combination of MRI with optical imaging was focused to exquisite anatomical information, spatial resolution, and ability for functional information on a molecular level. In this study, we designed multi-modal imaging probe based on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles and near infrared fluorophores. The multi modal imaging probe was shown distinguished optical and magnetic resonance imaging in vivo.
