Development of MRI/NIRF ‘activatable’ multi-modal imaging probe using Fe3O4@SiO2 core-shell nanoparticles |
초록 |
Multimodal imaging probes including two or more imaging modalities are focused recently because of efficient and accurate disease diagnosis. Combination of MRI and optical imaging is one of the popular combinations for multimodal imaging probes because they are complementary imaging technique. Recently, multimodal imaging probes based on optical imaging modality contained iron oxide nanoparticles have been widely researched during past decade to obtain accurate information about disease. However, only few studies are reported fabrication method of ‘activatable’ multimodal imaging probes and their in vivo application. Here in, we describe a fabrication method of Cy5.5-MMP substrate and PEG conjugated iron oxide nanoparticles with thin silica coating, and we demonstrate the potential as an ‘activatable’ dual imaging probe for cancer visualization in vivo. Our imaging probe shows excellent images via MRI, NIRF images in vivo and cell vaibility. |
