Study of Assembly Structures of Protein Fibers in Inside and Outside Vesicles |
초록 |
Protein fibers such as collagen, actin, intermediate filament and microtubules are most abundant materials which consist of inside and outside cells, and support cell shape. Among these fibers, collagen is the main component of connective tissue and actin is essential for cell mobility and producing contractile force in skeletal muscle. We study the assembly of collagen fibers controlled by electric field outside vesicle, and the bundling/networking of actin filaments by ion charge interactions encapsulated in vesicles. This can be a model system to study structures and interactions of the protein fibers and membrane of a living cell. |
