An Ionic Polyacetylene from the Non-catalyst Polymerization of 2-Ethynylpyridine Using 4-[4-(9-Bromononyloxy)phenylazo]anisole |
| 초록 |
A new ionic polyacetylene with azo functional groups was synthesized by the non-catalyst polymerization of 2-ethynylpyridine using 4-[4-(9-bromononyloxy)phenylazo]anisole in high yield. This ionic polymer was completely soluble in organic solvents and well processible. The electro-optical and electrochemical properties of the resulting polymer were studied. The photoluminescence spectrum of polymer showed that the PL peak is located at 539 nm corresponding to the photon energy of 2.30 eV. The cyclovoltammograms of polymer exhibited the irreversible electrochemical behaviors between the oxidation and reduction peaks. |
