제목 Cross-linked Sulfonated Poly(arylene ether sulfone) containing Bishydroxy Perfluoropolyether Cross-linker for Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Water Electrolysis Applications.
초록 The cross-linked sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (C-SPAES) membrane is fabricated by effective cross-linking method using bishydroxy perfluoropolyether (PFPE) as a cross-linker for polymer electrolyte membrane water electrolysis applications. The C-SPAES membrane shows reasonably high proton conductivity compared to linear SPAES membrane. In addition, the cross-linked structure using PFPE improves physicochemical stability of SPAES. Under, 90 oC and 50 % RH conditions, membrane electrode assembly (MEA) employing the C-SPAES membrane shows an outstanding cell performance (1.17 W cm-2 at 0.65 V) due to the interfacial compatibility between the electrode containing perfluoro polymer as a binder and C-SPAES membrane containing the perfluorinated moieties. Furthermore, in the wet/dry cycling test at 90 oC, the MEA employing the C-SPAES membrane reveals notable durability.
