제목 Block Copolymer Templated Nanostructured Hybrid Metal/Carbon in Energy Conversion Devices
초록 In this presentation, we suggest block copolymer mediated synthetic protocols for multifunctional hybrid electrocatalysts for the use in energy conversion devices such as direct formic acid fuel cells (DFAFCs) and dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). First, a facile strategy to fabricate three dimensional periodic hybrid metal/carbon nanostructures which show an electrocatalytic activity toward formic acid oxidation is demonstrated. Next, a thin layer of Pt/carbon with an extremely low loading level of Pt is demonstrated as an alternative type of counter electrode (CE) in DSSCs, yielding a comparable power conversion efficiency compared with a reference DSSC cell using conventional Pt-based CE.
