제목 Fabrication of a wettability-patterned biotemplate for a cellular microarray by a simple ion beam surface micropatterning
초록 In this study, the fabrication of a polymer biotemplate with a big wettability-patterned surface was investigated by an ion beam surface micropattering. A well-cleaned fluoropolymer surface was wholly irradiated by accelerated ions at a low current density and subsequent further selectively irradiated at the higher current density in the presence of pattern mask to generate the wettability-patterned surface. Based on the experimental results, the biotemplate with a wettability-patterned surface was successfully fabricated by the whole irradiation at the low current density to form the more hydrophilic surface followed by the selective irradiation at high current density to generate the superhydrophobic patterns. Moreover, the resolved cell micropatterns were formed on the resulting biotemplate.
