Characterization of Herbal Honey for Atopic Dermatitis Treatment |
| 초록 |
Atopic dermatitis is one of the most common skin disease in children and a characteristic chronically recurrent form of dermatitis with a hereditary tendency, affecting infants and may extend to the childhood or to the adult age. This study examined to the development of novel medicine for atopic dermatitis treatment using herbal honey. Biological activities of herbal honey were evaluated against 4 bacteria and 2 fungi. To investigate effect of herbal honey on atopic dermatitis in NC/Nga mice, the serum IgE level was measured. This study was supported by IPET(Korea Institute of planning & Evaluation for Technology in Food, Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries) Research Fund in 2009. |
