제목 Critical role of BMP-2 loaded heparin-based hydrogel in the reconstruction of ligament-to-bone interface
초록 The distinctive regions at the ligament-to-bone junction is essential for the effective transmission of mechanical force and the reduction of stress concentration between soft ligament and hard bone tissue, which was composed of ligament, non-mineralized fibrocartilage, mineralized fibrocartilage, and bone. In this research, we studied on the regeneration of ligament-to-bone interfaces with the porous rod-type PLCL scaffold, seeding the specific cell types for each designated part individually. Especially, BMP-2 together with cells were loaded in the heparin-based hydrogel and expected to form the mineralized fibrocartilage transition region. After tissue culture, reconstruction at interfaces was evaluated concerning how the specific characteristics of interfacial tissues were secreted in the integrated complex.
