제목 Preparation and Characterization of Polyethylene-Based Activated Carbon Fibers using a Hybrid Crosslinking Technique
초록 This study studieda method for manufacturing polyethylene-based activated carbon fibers using ahybrid cross-linking method. PE precursor fibers were first cross-linked withan electron beam at various irradiation doses and then cross-linked again insulfuric acid at a low temperature. Hybrid cross-linked fibers were carbonizedat 700℃ and thenactivated at 900℃ using a steam activation technique. The specific surface area andtotal pore volume of the resulting LLDPE-ACF and HDPE-ACF were observed to be1750 and 2090 m2/g and 0.99 and 1.24 cm3/g, respectively.
