제목 | Cathode Material for Lithium-Sulfur Battery : Heteroatom Doped Mesoporous Carbon |
초록 | Li-S batteries are upcoming rechargeable battery due to its high theoretical capacity, safeness, low cost and high energy density compared with conventional LiBs. Despite of its superiority, commercialization of Li-S battery is hindered because of insulating character of sulfur and lithium sulfide, dissolution of polysulfide intermediates during cycling. To overcome these problems, ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) is considered as one of the most promising carrier for active material. Herein, we synthesize heteroatom doped OMCs by simply changing synthetic procedure and precursor. For their high surface area, large pore volume, and chemical functionalities, we expect tailored OMCs can mitigate dissolution of polysulfides. Moreover, we believe that the they can overcome the insulating character of sulfur with highly conductive carbon matrix. Synthesized materials are characterized by X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption/desorption, SEM, and electrochemical investigation was performed. |
