제목 Amoxicillin-induced morphology transformation of self-assembled diacetylene lipid
초록 The diacetylene derivatives of 4-(4-aminobenzyl)benzenamine (PCDA-ABBA) has displayed a novel nanostructural transformation from monosheet to nanotube induced by amoxicillin. Our current investigations indicated that the self-assembly of PCDA-ABBA can form circular uniwafershaped structures or long-sheet structures depending on different organic solvents in the absence of amoxicillin. In the presence of amoxicillin, PCDA-ABBA can be introduced to self-assemble into the tubular structures from the solution under vigorous stirring at room temperature for 30min. The SEM and TEM images show that the size of nanotubes generated from the circular uniwafershaped structures and the long sheet-shaped structures are of great difference. In addition, we found that the morphology transformation of PCDA-ABBA can not be achieved in both acid and basic solution even in the presence of amoxicillin.
