Linearly Polarized Light Emissive Polymer Thin Films based Cyanostilbene Reactive Mesogens with AIE Property |
초록 |
Linearly polarized light emissive organic materials with great performance and processability are essential to development of advanced optical devices. We newly designed and synthesized a dicyanodistyrylbenzene-based reactive mesogen (abbreviated as DCM) with linearly polarized luminescence (LPL) property to fabricate liquid crystal polymer thin film. Based on the phase transition observations through thermal and optical analysis, it was realized that DCM has a nematic phase. DCM molecules were polymerized at nematic phase. Due to chemically crosslinked structure, the DCM liquid crystal polymer thin films had outstanding stability under thermal, chemical stimuli and mechanical. The uniaxially aligned polymer thin films with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) property showed not only LPL property but also intensive emission.
