The applications of metallic nanowires are promisingfor bioanalytical chemistry and medical diagnostics because of their desirableadvantages such as a high surface-to-volume ratio without grain boundaries andnano-transporting functionality. In this study, four different transition metalchalcogenides, LiMo3Se3, Mo6S3I6,Nb2Se9, and Ta2Pd3S8,are fabricated as one-dimensional (1-D) antioxidants with promising biocompatibility and bio-efficacy. Weobserved their cytotoxicity via LDH assay and antioxidant effect by in vitroROS assay. We expect that these materials are the best material for future biological and medical applications as nanowiredevise system. |
