Recently, many studies have been conducted to increase the efficiency of PSCs. And there are many ways to increase power conversion efficiency. One of them is to use bulky alkyl chains as substituents. We wanted to create a new material for the active layer of the device. So, Diflourinated Phenazine (DFPz) and benzodithiophene(BDT) were used for alternating copolymers. Phenazine was predicted that it has good charge mobility attributed to extended π conjugated structure and it was also expected that it has strong electronegativity attributed to C=N double bonds. To investigate the effect of bulky alkyl chain, various bulkyl alkyl chain were introduced. In result, the polymer with BO(butyl octyl) alkyl chain has better performance than polymer with other bulky chain. This suggests that the BO alkyl chain is the most suitable substituent. So, the polymer with BO alkyl chain (PBDT-DT-BOFPz) achieved 4.24% of PCE. |
