Highly Sensitive, Underwater Self-healable Strain Sensor for Respiration Monitoring |
초록 |
Due to the high risk of obstructive sleep apnea, a lightweight and wearable sensor for pulmonary respiration monitoring is strongly required. In particular, for long-term accurate monitoring, sensor devices have to allow for high sensitivity, fast response time and durability in a variety of environments. Therefore, it is necessary to endow the sensor with normal/underwater self-healing ability in the case of patient perspiration and accidental damage. Here, we describe an iontronic strain sensor, which consists of stretchable liquid metal electrodes and ionic conductors including polyurethane (PU) and ionic liquids. Among them, PU uses dynamic boronate bonds and hydrophobic alkyl chains as the self-healing driving force, improving the sensor durability. Moreover, the ionic conductor and stretchable electrode possess excellent ionic conductivity and high conductivity under high deformation, respectively, so that the excellent electrical performance of the sensor can be achieved. |
