The porous silica microspheres have wide applications in the analytical field, such as drug delivery systems, cosmetics and biocompatible microreactors. It can be selected in the manufacturing process because of characteristics such as porosity and pore size distribution affecting compound retention and controlled release. Due to their particular characteristics, the prepared porous silica microspheres has been employed as carriers to explore their possible applications for controlled drug delivery. So, the focus of this study is the potential use of porous silica microspheres as drug delivery systems is investigated. And this work deals with the investigation of the influence of physical properties of solvents on the release of drugs in vitro. |
