제목 Electrochemical characteristic on activated carbon decreased ash content
초록 EDLC(Electric Double layer Capacitor) is energy storage device had rapid charge-discharge and high efficiency. As the main active material of EDLC, activated carbon and high specific surface area and was consisted of C, H, O, N, S and inorganic materials(Na, Mg, Ca, K, Si, etc.). Inorganic materials exist as oxide type which cause decrease for specific surface area of meso region. the meso region has a very importanct effect on capacitance of EDLC. In order to increase meso region, inorgnic materials on activated carbon was removed with non-oxidant treatment methods such as HCl, HF.Treated activated carbon is characterized by TGA, FT-IR, XPS, Cyclic voltammetry and charge-discharge test.
