Formation of cell patterns on micropatterned-superhydrophobic surfaces using selective ion irradiation |
초록 |
In this study, we described a facile method for the formation of cell micropatterns on a polymer surface using ion irradiation. A fluoropolymer surface was selectively modified by ion irradiation through a patterned mask at a high fluence to fabricate micropatterned-superhydrophobic surface. The surface properties of the irradiated films were investigated in terms of their wettability, chemical composition, and surface morphology. Cells were selectively adhered to and proliferated on the bare surface, not on the superhydrophobic surface, resulting in the formation of cell micropatterns on the fluoropolymer surface. |
