제목 Grafting polymerization of GMA onto cellulose by E-beam radiation and preparation of ion exchange fiber
초록 The industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater are the serious problem that contaminates the nature and influence the injury on the human body. Among the methods to overcome those problems, the ion exchange technique has some critical advantages: the processing is simple and the efficiency is high. Particularly, due to the fast processing time and the high efficiency, the ion exchange fiber is much more effective than the ion-exchange resin.  
In this study, sulfonated GMA(glycidyl methacrylate)-g-cellulose ion exchange fibers were synthesized by electron beam radiation. In addition, factors affecting on grafting yield and sulfonation time were studied. These GMA-g-cellulose and sulfonated GMA-g-cellulose were characterized and analyzed by SEM, EA, FT-IR XRD and DSC.
