제목 Synthesis of methacrylate group-containing phosphorus flame retardant: Comparison of 2 types introducing method
초록 When a flame retardant is incorporated into polymer matrix, it could improve the combustible property of polymer and prevent the spread of fire. Flame retarding system is categorized into 2 introducing method; additive- and reactive-type. To confirm the flame retardancy by introducing method, a methacrylate group-containing phosphorus flame retardant, 2-[(diphenoxyphosphoryl)oxy]ethyl methacrylate (DPEMA), was synthesized. Polystyrene(PS), polyacrylonitrile(PAN) and Poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) was selected as matrices of additive type flame retardant system. To compared additive types with reactive types, DPEMA was copolymerization other monomers such as acrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate, and styrene. The comparison of DPEMA's flame retardant mechanisms according to the two-type introduction methods was investigated by TGA, TG-IR and LOI.
