제목 Surfactant-free preparation of water dispersible conjugated polymer nanoparticles and their electroluminescence
초록 Conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CPNs) have attracted considerable interest due to their unique optical properties and potential applications in bio-sensors and optoelectronic devices such as light-emitting diodes and solar cells. In particular, water-dispersible CPNs have received special attention as a printable optical ink for cost-effective fabrication of optoelectronic devices. Here, we present a simple approach for fabrication of water-dispersible CPNs with 2-dimensional nanographite oxide sheets (NGO) shell via miniemulsion methods. We found that NGO can act like a surfactant in emulsification process of CPNs due to amphiphilicity with hydrophilic edges and hydrophobic basal plane. 50 ~ 100 nm sized CPNs wrapped by NGO were successfully obtained and their optical properties and electroluminescence characteristics have been systematically investigated.
