제목 Achilles tendon regeneration with porous PLCL scaffolds using dynamic tensile stimulation
초록 At present the therapeutic options to treat damaged tendons or ligaments include autograft, allograft, or prosthetic devices. However, there are many problems, such as donor site morbidity, harmful response from immune system, and poor biocompatibility. In this study, we seed tenocytes from the rabbit tendon onto biodegradable porous PLCL[(poly lactide-co-ε-caprolactone)] scaffolds with excellent mechanical properties and biological interactions and cultured in the bioreactor which mimics the environment surroundings of the tendon. And then, we evaluate degree of neo-tissue regeneration in terms of mechanical properties, cell proliferation, and histology observation.
