제목 Cathode buffer layer based on small molecules with different ionic properties for organic solar cells
초록 To overcome the high processing costs caused by complex chemical synthesis methods of polymer, in this study we utilized small-molecule electrolytes as the cathode buffer layer in inverted organic solar cells. The power conversion efficiency of 10.63% was achieved by the device based on benzene-1,2,4,5-tetrayltetrakis(methylene))tetrakis(triphenylphosphonium) bromide (4PBr) (Jsc = 20.2 mAcm-2, Voc = 0.79 V, and FF = 66.6%), which is superior to that based on N,N’-(1,2-phenylenebis(methylene)) bis(N,N-diethylethanaminium) bromide (2EBr) (PCE = 9.56%, Jsc = 19.7 mAcm-2 Voc = 0.80 V, and FF = 61.1%). Our results demonstrate that the performance of the device can be enhanced without requiring complicated synthesis procedures.
