제목 | Fabricationof Gold Coated Multipods Silica Nanoparticles as SERS-active Substrates |
초록 | Plasmonic metal nanostructures have extensively attractedattention for molecular sensing applications due to the unique opticalproperties of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). Especially, controllablenanoparticles with unique morphologies allowto enhance the SERS (Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering) signal by generatingstrong LSPR and hot spots. In this study, we have fabricated gold nanoparticlesusing Arabic gum to create roughened structures on the surface. Further, multipodssilica nanoparticles have been synthesized and the size and number of thepatchy structure on the silica nanoparticle are controllable by the chemicalreagents, reaction time and temperature. Subsequently, gold thin layer wascoated on the silica nanoparticle to use as a SERS-active substrate formolecular detection. |
