제목 Simultaneous Angular Multiplexing Recording of Holographic Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal
초록 Multiplexing hologram may be stored in volume-holographic media through angular, phased-encoded, phase-and-amplitude-encoded, wavelength, spatial multiplexing or by more than one of these technique in combination. Angular multiplexing requires accurate registration of each reference angle for hologram replay.
Simultaneously exposure of material to three coherent laser beams gave the resulting three-beam interference pattern records and three graphic grating HPDLC. This allows the reconstruction of two object beams upon illumination with a reference beam.
We used a binary monomer system composed of dipentaerythritol hydroxypentaacrylate/ N-vinylpyrrolidone(DPHPA/NVP)=5/1, trimethylolpropanetriacrylate/N-vinylpyrrolidone(TMPTA/NVP)=8/1 by weight. Gratings were written by irradiation an Ar-laser(λ=514nm)at various intensities(30-100mwcm-2) on monomer/liquid crystal composition. The other variable examined in detail include cell gap, intersection angle of the three beams outside the film, which narrows angle selectivity.
