Improvement of the Transfer of Hydrogen to the Liquid Phase to Enhance the Biomethanation in Thermophilic Biological ‘Power-to-Gas’ Process |
초록 |
Discontinue us electricity production from renewable energy combined with fluctuating utilization cause serious storage problems that can be solved by power-to-gas strategy representing the production of storable H2 via the electrolysis of water.The possibility of subsequent repowering of the H2 energy to the easily utilizable and transportable form is a biological conversion with CO2 to CH4.The major bottleneck in the process is gas-liquid mass transfer of H2 and the method of the effective input of H2 into the system. In this study, to increase the mass transfer rate of H2,a gas diffuser to make fine bubbles (40to60μm) was used. The biomethanation was occurred in a reactor operated with working volume of 10l under thermophilic condition (60°C). The sludge from anaerobic digester of Jungrang wastewater treatment plant was used as the seeding microorganisms. By using the gas diffuser, biomethanation rate increase to 2.6l/lreactord as compared with the control reactor 0.8 l/lreactord |
