제목 Synthesis of Poly(n-hexylisocyanate)-b-Poly[3-(trimethoxysilyl)-propyl methacrylate] Diblock Copolymer using Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization
초록 Poly(n-hexylisocyanate)-b-poly[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl mathacrylate] (PHIC-b-PTMSPMA) was synthesized via the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) with CuBr/N,N,N’,N”,N”-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) as a catalyst system. The monomer, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-propyl methacrylate (TMSPMA), was reacted in anisole with a macro initiator, poly(n-hexylisocyanate) (PHIC-Br) which was synthesized by anionic polymerization. The diblock copolymer was characterized by 1H-NMR and GPC. Silica substrate was coated in PHIC-b-PTMSPMA solution. The morphological characteristic of the copolymer layer on the silica substrate was studied using atomic force microscope (AFM).
