제목 Block copolymerization of 2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine with various monomers by sequential living anionic polymerization and study of its reactivity order and morphology
초록 The block copolymerizations of 2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine (VPPy) with styrene (St), isoprene (IP), 2-vinylpyridine (2VP), and methylmethacrylate (MMA) were successfully carried out at -78 ℃ by sequential living anionic polymerization without additives such as LiCl or Et2Zn. The living nature and the nucleophilicity of living poly(VPPy) were investigated through the block copolymerizations. It was confirmed that its nucleophilicity is between living poly(2VP) and living poly(MMA). The resulted block copolymers of poly(VPPy)-b-PMMA and 2-(4’-vinyl biphenyl-4-yl)pyridine (VBPPy) showed the microphase deparation which was confirmed by TEM depending on the moiety ratio.
