Mathematical simulation for thermal electro-chemical coupled modeling of lithium ion cell |
초록 |
A thermal electrochemical coupled model is developed for lithium ion cell. The model consists of five zones and lithium manganese oxide (LiMn2O4) is used as a cathode material. Lithium ion battery generates electric power by electro-chemical reactions. The electro-chemical reactions influence heat generation in battery. The heat generation is very important factor for performance of lithium ion cell. This model predicts the cell internal temperature distribution and comparisons between the coupled and decoupled model. Through the results, we provide the information for designing optimal lithium ion battery. |
