제목 입자계 소재 가공 시 발생하는 불균일성에 대한 고찰(A perspective on the heterogeneity in the processing of particulate materials)
초록 With recent advances in emerging technologies, materials design encounters new challenges. With more nano particles inside, processing experiences thinner and faster deformations than ever, which should be reflected in materials design. It happens in most emergying industries such as manufacturing of batteries, solar cells, multi-layer chips, displays, printed electronics, to list a few. However, little is known about the flow characteristics of such complex fluids and less is known about how to design and control the process. Therefore, for better control of the process and for better quality of the product, we need to understand the transport phenomena of these complex fluids, which rarely has been studied in the past. In this talk, I will emphasize that we have to consider the concept of heterogeneity to solve these problems.
