제목 Cysteine-functionalized graphene oxides/polyethersulfone membranes having improved antifouling properties
초록 Mixed matrix membranes (MMM) based on polyethersulfone (PES) nanocomposites with cysteine-functionalized graphene oxides (CysGO) were fabricated and their separation performance was investigated. Graphene oxides were functionalized by thiol-ene click reaction and PES nanocomposites membranes containing various concentration of CysGO were prepared by non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS) method. The separation performance of obtained membranes was evaluated by a dead-end filtration cell test and Bovine serum albumin (BSA) solution was used for model foulants. As CysGO was added, fouling resistance was enhanced since zwitterion of cysteine helps to form water layer adjacent to the surface of membranes.
