Fabrication of TiO2 Nanostructures for Gas Sensors |

Metal oxide gas sensors are ofcontinuousinterestowing totheir great sensing abilities for various species of gas. In particular, detecting hydrogen gas has been important sincegreat deal of energy conversion devices using hydrogen gasis recently being developed. Leakage from the devices maygive rise totremendous accidents due to the explosiveness of the gas. One of the most promising materials for rapid and sensitive sensors is TiO2 nanostructure.We demonstrate the fabrication and characterization of TiO2 nanostructures for hydrogen gas sensors. Sensing properties are influenced by the morphology and dimension of the nanostructures. |
