Hierarchically-ordered porous materials have accommodated a great deal of attention due to wide variety of applications such as catalysis, drug delivery, optics and electronics. In most applications, it is important to tailor ordered porous structure with large interfacial area. Colloidal crystal and block copolymer self-assembly can lead to excellent platform for producing hierarchically-ordered porous materials over multiple length scales. In this work, we have produced hierarchically-ordered porous TiO2 film using colloidal crystal and block copolymer. At first, colloidal crystals of PS nanospheres have been prepared by solvent-evaporation-induced method and O2 plasma etching. Then, mixed solution of block copolymer and TiO2 precursor has been infiltrated into colloidal crystals. Calcination at 500°C removed both templates of colloidal crystal and block copolymer as well as produced hierarchical TiO2 films. Such hierarchical TiO2 film exhibits enhanced photocatalytic activity. |
