제목 Preparation of Superhydrophobic Core-Shell Nanoparticles Synthesized by Thiol-Lactam Initiated Radical Polymerization
초록 Superhydrophobic Core-shell nanoparticles(CSNPs) were synthesized by TLIRP. SiO2 nanoparticles (SNs) and fluoroalkyl polymer chains were used to provide two main requirements, surface ruoughness and low surface energy, for superhydrophobic surfaces. SNs were synthesized by Stober method and then the surface of the SNs was modified with (3-mercaptopropyl) trimethoxysilane which were used as seeds in polymerization in the presence of butyrolactam. The core-shell structures were observed by TEM. The peaks of CH2 (4.26 and 2.56 ppm) in the poly(heptadecafluorodecyl methacrylate) and the peak of CH3 (3.53ppm) in the poly(methyl methacrylate) appeared in 1H-NMR spectra. The results show that the CSNPs were successfully prepared by TLIRP. The maximum water and oil contact angles of coated glass with CSNPs were 166.4° and 117.2° respectively. The silica content in CSNPs affects the wettability of the coating surface owing to roughness caused by core SNs.
