제목 Optical and thermal properties of Fluorescein salt in polymer matrix
초록 The ultimate purpose of this study is to realize high efficiency white light emitting diodes(LEDs), using organic luminescence conversion(LUCO) materials combined with blue LEDs. The Fluorescein salts exhibit significantly enhanced fluorescence emission, compared to the neutral form. The enhanced emission is attributed to the extended conjugation length of the salt form. PMMA films containing the fluorescein salt were prepared via in-situ polymerization of methyl methacrylate in the presence of the fluorescein salt dissolved in DMF. The photoluminescence(PL) and thermal stability(DSC, TGA) of the resulting films will be presented in detail.
