Recently, high χ block copolymer has been studied extensively because of sub-10 nm patterning. Fluorosilicone polymer, combined incorporation of siloxane and fluorinated groups into synthetic materials, received much attention due to similar surface energy and high χ. In this study, fluorosilicone polymer was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Structure and molecular weight was investigated by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC), respectively. Polydimethylsiloxane macroinitiator was used to initiate polymerization of acrylate monomers with fluorinated side groups. Using this well-defined block copolymer, we can expect sub-10 nm structure pattern. |
