Dendritic structure of organic chromophores for an efficient second order optical nonlinearity |
초록 |
The hyper branched structure of chromophore has improved second order NLO property of a side chain polymer. It is due to increased chromophore density and partially due to local ordering of each chromophores. Dendrimer has a systematic structure with the number of branches controllable according to the generations and increases chromophore density. Globular geometry of the dendrimer would allow of somewhat orderable chromophore arrangement compared to tangled linear polymer structures and reveal sufficient solvent solubility for optical film processing. |
