Characteristic of activated carbon composite electrodfor capacitive deionization |
초록 |
Capacitive deionization is an efficient and economical new process for removing salt and impurities from water. It was well known that the ion-adsorption efficiency of the carbon electrode can be strongly dependent on the pore microstructure and chemical functional groups. In this study, we prepared the activated carbon and TiO2 composite materials. This material was synthesized using the P123(pulinic, EO20PO70EO20) by the carbonization with TiO2. XPS and SEM were used to confirm activated carbon/TiO2. Avtivated carbon/TiO2 analyzed at cyclic voltammetry and charge-dicharge test. Through CV, about 20% of capacity-increasing was confirmed and as the flow rate of electrolyte, about 20% of ion was removed. |
