Typically, one of the major reasons which limit the power conversion efficiency of polymer solar cell is loss of charge carriers in metal/organic contact. To solve this problem, active layer morphology has been controlled by adjusting processing condition including annealing time, temperature or donor/acceptor ratio. However, these methods influence not only on the metal organic interface but also on active layer property itself. This indicates that there is limitation for control of metal/organic interface. Here, we introduced nano-porous morphology between metal/organic contact without changing active layer properties. By enlarging metal/organic contact area, FF and Jsc was increased while Voc maintained, so overall power conversion efficiency was enhanced. Light absorption, carrier transport, AC impedance characteristics are investigated to identify the active layer properties. |
