제목 Fabrication of close-packed hemisphere microlens array using 3Dcolloid self-assembly and its application to PLEDs
초록 Recently, there has been increased attention in fabricating highly ordered microlens arrays with fine surface features together with development in areas of OLED to improve the out-coupling efficiency. Fabrication of microlens arrays has been previously achieved via several methods however, most of the techniques have several shortcomings that require patterned templates for photolithography, expensive equipment, and complex and elaborate processing. Here, we fabricated close-packed hemisphere microlens array using 3D colloid self assembly as template for PDMS replica mold. Various size of micro lens array were well made without shape deformation. Microlens applied PLED shows 35% performance enhancement in forward viewing angle, and EL spectra is unchanged by viewing angle. These properties make this simple and cost-effective method for increasing light out-coupling attractive for lighting and displays.
