제목 Layer-by-layer deposition of gold nanoparticles on poly(acrylic acid)-patterned PFA surface prepared via radiation grafting
초록 In this study, the pattern formation of gold nanoparticles (NPs) on a polymer surface via radiation grafting and layer-by-layer deposition. Acrylic acid (AA) was graft polymerized on the selectively-activated PFA surface through ion irradiation, and the multilayers of gold NPs were then generated on the PAA-patterned surface through the layer-by-layer assembly. The analytical results for the chemical structure and wettability of the grafted PFA verified the occurrence of the graft polymerization on the irradiated surface. The results of the SEM/EDX analysis and I-V measurement revealed that the multilayers of gold NPs were successfully deposited on the PAA-grafted surface and the resulting patterns exhibited good electrical conductivity.
