제목 Highly Selective Removal of Pb2+ and Fe3+ from Aqueous Solutions by N,N’-(Dicarboxylic acid) Ethylenediamine Bridged Periodic Mesoporous Organosilica
초록 N,N’-(dicarboxylic acid) ethylenediamine bridged organic/inorganic hybrid periodic mesoporous organosilica (ED-PMO) material was synthesized from a bridged silsesquioxane precursor and tetramethyl orthosilicate. The optimal condition for the removal of various metal ions from aqueous solutions was explored by varying the parameters, such as pH, stirring time, initial concentration, and amount of adsorbent. The selective adsorption performance of ED-PMO from an aqueous mixture containing Co2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Cd2+, Pb2+, Zn2+, Fe3+, Mn2+ and Cr3+ ions was examined under various pH conditions. The adsorbent exhibited 100 % mole selectivity for Fe3+ from the above aqueous mixture and 100 % mole selectivity for Pb2+ in the absence of Fe3+ from the above solution. The reusability test showed that the Fe3+ and Pb2+ adsorbed ED-PMO can be recycled for at least six consecutive cycles without losing its adsorption ability.
