Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) is used potentially in various applications such as tracking system for biomolecules, organic dyes and various heavy metal adsorption, drug delivery, cell labeling, immunoassay, targeted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cell separation, and magnetic hyperthermia. The key advantage for the use of the material is due to the simple synthesis and easy functionalization ability. In our work, we synthesized multi-functional magnetic nanoparticles in one-pot approach and analyzed the structural, functional, magnetic properties of the materials using scanning and transition electron microcopies (SEM and TEM), Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy, wide and small angle X-ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption and desorption method, thermogravimetric analysis, and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). The multi-functional magnetic nanoparticles can be used in various applications based on the functional groups. |
