We fabricate a nanocompositein which titanium dioxide nanoparticles are encapsulated inside themulti-walled carbonnanotubes. The nanocomposite is characterized using variousanalysis instruments. Through XRD analysis, it is confirmed that the titaniumdioxide nanoparticles generated inside CNTs were the anatase phase with thebest photocatalytic performance. As experiments to confirm the photocatalyticperformance of the nanocomposite, ESR analysis to confirm the generation ofactive oxygen species (ROS), adsorption and decomposition experiments wereperformed using organic materials used as dyes. In addition, the removalexperiment of biohazardous materials using the photocatalyst and the recyclingof the catalysts were confirmed. |
