제목 Study on controlled free-radical polymerization of adamantyl-substituted methyl methacrylates in the presence of 2-cyanoprop-2-yl 1-dithionaphthalate
초록 Reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of 3-hydroxy-1-adamantyl methacrylate (HAdMA) and 2-ethyl-2-adamantyl methacrylate (EAdMA) were performed using 2-cyanoprop-2-yl 1-dithionaphthalate (CPDN) as a chain transfer agent. HAdMA exhibited controlled polymerization characteristics. When the same polymerization conditions were applied to EAdMA, methacrylic acid originated from the decomposition of EAdMA was observed.
