Photovoltaic enhancement of dye-sensitized solar cell prepared from [TiO2/ethyl cellulose/terpineol] paste employing TRITONTM X-based surfactant with carboxylic acid group in the oxyethylene chain end |
초록 |
The efficiency of nanocrystalline TiO2 dye-sensitized solar cells(DSC) has been known to be affected by the amount of adsorbed dye. We prepared novel Triton-based surfactants to disperse nc-TiO2 particles to increase the solid loading in the printed photoanode layer. Novel surfactants have been applied to nc-TiO2 paste formulations and then the characteristics were investigated. With utilizing the best surfactant, we have fabricated the nc-TiO2 DSSCs. The efficiency of DSSCs was 8.557% with an enhancement from 7.866% due to increasing the short circuit current density 13.87 mA to 12.93 mA. |
