Nitrite(NO2-) is an important target analyte because of its presence in food and the environment. Nitrite can be reduced to nitric oxide (NO) through several pathways, making nitrite therapeutically valuable, including for its cytoprotective and blood-pressure lowering effects.[1,2] We recently developed a UV-curing urethane acrylate(UA) film in which 5-mono(4-aminophenyl)-10,20-diphenyl-15-acrylate porphyrin was successfully incorporated into urethane acrylate matrix for chemical sensing of nitrite. Moreover, the sensor shows response in both colorimetric and fluorescence property. It has only selectivity for nitrite(NO2-) among the various negative ions(Cl-, I-, ClO4-, SO4-). Herein, we report the photophysical property and nitrite sensing behavior of urethane acrylate film containing 5-mono(4-aminophenyl)-10,20-diphenyl-15-acrylate porphyrin as chemical probe. |
