제목 Nonlinear Optical Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Materials Containing an Active Chromophore, Prepared by Sol-Gel Processing Method
초록 A series of nonlinear optical organic-inorganic hybrid materials containing an active chromophore were synthesized by non-hydrolytic sol-gel reaction. To synthesize an alkoxysilane precursor containing an active chromophore, 3-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane was reacted with an azo-type chromophore at elevated temperature. These precursor containing an azo-type chromophore was then reacted with 4,4’-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphenol to prepare the organic-inorganic hybrids by sol-gel reaction. The reaction mixture was then heat-treated for thermal condensation and methanol as a byproduct was also eliminated. The thin films of these hybrid materials were prepared by spin coating on the ITO substrate and their patterned morphology and electro-optical properties were precisely measured.
